Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. - Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring high quality and taste of dishes.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of kitchen supplies, informing the Head Chef when reordering is necessary.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques related to Japanese cuisine. - Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine setting.
- Knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
