Our client is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Team Assistant to join their wholesale team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the sales field.
- Start Jan 6th week
- Part time- approx. 2 days/week in Jan for the NYC Market, then 3-4 Feb on (more hands-on the first few weeks due to market work)
- Paying $28/hr. temporarily; if it becomes permanent $65,000–$70,000 (and FT hours)
- Interview on December 26th or later due to Holiday/ travel schedule
Responsibilities :
- Assist during appointments
- Provide a visible and positive team presence
- Take notes
- Handle order entry
- Perform administrative tasks
- Perform v-lookups and create pivot tables
- Run the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Maintain up-to-date order information
- Update information through ATS
- Steaming, hanging, and boxing merchandise
- Participate in markets in New York (occasional travel to Chicago may be required)
Qualifications :
- Beginner/Intermediate proficiency in Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Comfortable with computers and data entry
- Retail experience or customer interaction a plus (background or interest in fashion is a plus, but NOT required)
