Job Description

Our client, an OC based Athleisure brand, is looking for an experienced Wholesale Account Manager to join their growing team!


In this role you will have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and directly report to the VP of Sales & Merchandising and work alongside an existing team of sales representatives.


Location-Santa Ana, CA- flex to hybrid

Salary-$120K plus bonus


What You Will Do:

  • Set and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Work closely with VP of Sales to manage Available-to-Sell reports to maximize sales.
  • Monitor and report Sell-Through and other KPIs to ensure in-season success.
  • Attend tradeshows as needed to support current accounts and acquire new key accounts.
  • Complete research and planning to establish new relationships and open new key accounts.
  • Attain knowledge of brands history and mission as a brand and successfully communicate this message to all current and prospective accounts.
  • Attain expertise in our fabrics, price points, and catalog of 200+ revolving styles.
  • Make effective and persuasive presentations to large and small customers.
  • Evaluate brands performance with current retailers to understand sales and plan for upcoming seasons.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience in apparel sales, specifically active-lifestyle apparel.
  • Experience in the sporting goods channel is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and qualitative abilities.
  • Ability to influence at all levels within the organization and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate understanding of basic retail math and analytics.
  • Demonstrate ability to build strategic business partnerships.
  • Ability to effectively present strategic concepts and products.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Effective time management, planning, and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong understanding of Excel, sales analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to travel to build relationships and meet critical accounts' needs.
