As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
• Identify and prospect new clients within the food manufacturing, food service, and restaurant sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients.
3. Market Analysis:
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities for business growth.
4. Negotiation and Contract Management:
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Manage contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
5. Product Knowledge:
• Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including specifications, pricing, and availability.
• Educate clients on the benefits and features of our food commodities.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
• Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role, preferably in the food distribution industry. Bakery experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the food manufacturing, food service, and restaurant sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
