Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive E-Commerce Manager to lead and optimize our eCommerce operations. This role requires expertise in managing Shopify Plus platforms, a deep understanding of DTC eCommerce, and strong organizational skills.
Shipping and Fulfillment:
- Manage and optimize daily shipping and fulfillment operations to ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.
- Oversee and coordinate the packing, labeling, and shipping processes, ensuring compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers to resolve issues and track shipments.
- Implement shipping strategies to improve cost-efficiency and delivery times.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment, including setting and maintaining appropriate lead times and tracking systems.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee the management of inventory across all ecommerce platforms, ensuring real-time updates and accurate stock levels.
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved quickly.
- Use Shopify’s inventory management tools to track stock levels, monitor product availability, and optimize reorder points.
- Work closely with the supply chain and warehouse teams to forecast inventory needs, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including inbound stock and returns.
- Manage B2B ecommerce processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders for business clients.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Create and maintain detailed reports on ecommerce performance, including shipping, fulfillment, inventory levels, and B2B transactions.
- Analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as order accuracy, shipping times, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction, and provide actionable insights.
- Generate regular reports to track the efficiency of fulfillment processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide ad-hoc reports on demand, sales forecasts, and other business-critical data as needed.
Shopify Management and Optimization:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Shopify ecommerce platform, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize Shopify's tools and integrations to manage orders, inventory, and B2B sales processes.
- Work with development and design teams to optimize the Shopify store for improved performance, user experience, and order management.
- Troubleshoot any issues within the Shopify system related to shipping, fulfillment, or inventory.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Shopify features and apps to enhance functionality and streamline operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6+-12+ years of experience in ecommerce management, with a focus on shipping, fulfillment, inventory management, and B2B operations.
- Proven experience with Shopify, including order management, inventory tracking, and integrations with third-party tools.
- Strong knowledge of B2B ecommerce processes and workflows.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of orders.
