We are partnering with an innovative biotech in California seeking a Clinical Development Consultant with expertise in neurodegenerative diseases. This fully remote, part-time consultancy role focused on early-phase clinical development in neurodegeneration, particularly ALS.

Role Details:

• Position: Clinical Development Consultant
• Hours: 5-10 hours/week
• Duration: 12-month contract, starting in January
• Location: Fully remote (with potential site visit to California)
• Focus: Early-phase clinical development in neurodegeneration (ALS, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for clinical development programs in neurodegenerative diseases, particularly ALS
• Design and lead phase 1 and phase 2 clinical trials for neurodegenerative conditions
• Present to senior stakeholders, including boards, on clinical progress and strategy

Key Requirements:

• Significant experience in clinical development, specifically in ALS or other neurodegenerative diseases
• Proven expertise in designing and leading early-phase clinical trials in neurodegeneration
• Familiarity with oligonucleotide-based therapies (ASO experience preferred)
• Strong experience in managing the IND process and regulatory interactions
• Experience presenting clinical development updates to senior leadership and boards
