Job Description

MAU is hiring a Sitework Estimator for Landmark Construction Co. in Charleston, SC. As a Sitework Estimator, you will leverage strong organizational, communication, and technical skills to manage data, interpret engineering drawings, analyze contractual requirements, and implement innovative solutions to automate processes, enhance efficiencies, and ensure precision in all tasks. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

  • Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
  • Prior experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expert-level knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to automate processes and enhance efficiencies
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data
  • Ability to analyze and interpret contractual requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
  • Creative problem-solving skills to automate processes and enhance operational efficiencies
  • Quick adaptability to learning new software and tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks


Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate and develop takeoffs for various construction projects
  • Review project documents, plans, and specifications to identify material and labor requirements
  • Use takeoff software to calculate quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for site work and utility projects
  • Assist in analyzing budgets for project materials and labor
  • Support the preparation of estimates and bids for project proposals
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams as needed
