A leading heavy industrial manufacturing company is looking for a SH&E Manager to support two sites in the Chambersburg PA area. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing SH&E programs across both facilities. Working closely with the leadership team, the SH&E Manager will drive successful implementation of the company’s goals/objectives, programs and policies. Additionally, the SH&E Manager will develop and/or review SH&E policy, procedure & training content, in conjunction with the VP of EHS.

The Role:

• Drive successful implementation of the companies SH&E goals/objective, program and policies.
• Ensuring division compliance with Local, State & Federal regulations.
• Leading accident investigation, root cause analysis, and ensuring the completion of corrective action.
• Collaborates on Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, PPE Assessments and monthly Safety Performance Reports.
• Advises on Workers’ Compensation claims and activities. Reviews associated claim data as required.
• Reviewing and auditing OSHA 300 log and advising on Workers Compensation claims and activities.
• Performing or coordinating all industrial hygiene (IH) activities and coordinating all required employee medical surveillance for safety programs.

The Candidate:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a safety related field or 3+ years of related SH&E work experience.
• Heavy Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in collecting and analyzing data; preparing reports; and training employees.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Master’s Degree, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other safety certifications strongly preferred.
