Responsibilities Receptionist, Full-time This position is responsible for answering the main switchboard professionally and timely. Responds to routine questions, forwards calls to appropriate departments and individuals. Meters all outgoing mail, and processes overnight and express mail using FedEX/UPS. Creates and types letters, memorandums, as assigned. Assists Admissions Department with organization of new patient charts. The receptionist sets the first impression for our clients, visitors and staff through practicing our Service Excellence Standards: Treating Everyone As a Guest,
Demonstrating Professionalism and Excellence, and Practicing Teamwork. - Consistently sets professional tone in reception area, both in personal behavior and telephone etiquette.
- Demonstrates good judgment in screening and routing phone telephone calls.
- Greets visitors professionally, with a smile and an accommodating style
- Completes clerical assignments in a timely manner. Assisting/supporting departments.
- Organizes, prepares, and assists patients in the admissions process.
Qualifications - Education : High School graduate or equivalent
- Experience : Two (2) years' receptionist secretarial experience required. One (1) year experience in the health care field preferred.
- License/Certification : Not required
- Skills : Must have a pleasant voice and excellent telephone manners. Typing skills minimum of 40 wpm and proficient in Microsoft Office, FedEx and UPS online shipping, and Internet (Microsoft Edge & Google). Ability to prioritize multiple assignements simultaneously and ability to deal professionally and diplomatically with all staff and general public.
