Medical Assistant Shift:

Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm (Wednesday is 8am-3pm)

Medical Assistant responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist in the assessment of patient needs
• Obtain and record vital signs, blood pressure, medical history, medications and mental status
• Complete documentation in medical software
• Restock and prepare the medial suites for examinations
• Preparing and administering medications, including by intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections—including vaccinations/immunizations, as directed by a physician or other licensed provider
• Draw blood and take electrocardiograms

What will you need as a Medical Assistant?

• 2 years of Medical Assistant or LPN experience required
• CMA Certification preferred
• eClinicalWorks is a plus
• Must pass background and drug screening
