We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Product Development & Delivery to help accelerate our Wealth Management Technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance client and advisor experiences while driving business growth.
The role of the Director of Product Management is pivotal in overseeing the development and success of CI's products by aligning product strategies with business goals and customer needs. The individual will be a key player in aligning product strategy with business goals, driving product discovery and innovation, and communicating product vision to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder implementations for the Wealth business, focusing on new technology builds and vendor implementations.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and tools to manage progress and stakeholder communication.
- Develop and deliver multi-year digital product transformation strategies.
- Introduce key middle-office service integrations and deliver enterprise-level data solutions.
- Manage the assigned product portfolio and prioritize features.
Key Skills
- Leading complex, multi-stakeholder/vendor implementations.
- Leveraging Agile methodologies and established project management practices.
- Utilizing productivity tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Managing large, multi-vendor relationships.
- Delivering multi-year digital transformation initiatives.
- Partnering with advisors and business leaders to understand platform priorities.
- Creating solutions to drive operational efficiencies and business results.
- Expertise in data management and analytics.
- Leading high-performing teams.
- Financial acumen and expertise in selection, negotiation, and management of systems, vendors, and consultants.
Requirements
- At least 15years of experience in software delivery and product management.
- 5 years or more of leadership experience across multiple sites and in an international environment.
- Great people skills in combination with great assertiveness.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and coordination skills.
- Leadership and entrepreneurship traits that people are comfortable following.
- High-level motivational skills for the management of virtual teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Working knowledge of data querying tools and languages – SQL/R/Python.
- Software development experience as a developer or manager.
- Participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle. As well as experience with Agile software methodologies.
- Sound knowledge and thorough understanding of business and technology
