POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Managed by Cogir Immobilier, the mission of the Richeloises residence is to offer seniors a life support system in a safe and warm environment, where our wonderful team makes all the difference for our residents.
Located on the banks of the Richelieu, the residence is warm and is happy to welcome autonomous and semi-autonomous residents. Here we have delicious full meals at low prices, free parking, a social club, continuing education, and free coffee and smiles!
Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, day/evening between 6:30am and 7pm and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Replace the leader in the event of his absence
- See to the preparation of meals offered on the menu, soups and desserts
Food Services
- Assemble plates of food
- Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals
- Perform other related duties
- When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience
- Training certification (MAPAQ)
