We are currently looking for Compiler Engineers for a world-leading semiconductor organization that powers over 2 billion devices a year and is a market leader in chipset technology.
They have just released their next-generation SoC for mobile devices and IoT products and are a building high-performance compilers and toolchains for the newest 5G and upcoming 6G wireless modems.
As a Compiler Engineer you'll drive the optimization of processors powering millions of devices worldwide, influencing hardware design with innovative and aggressive optimization strategies. Their Boston team specifically are developing new compiler technology within their LLVM-based toolchain and contributing to processor architecture for future modem products.
Requirements
- Experience developing and contributing to toolchain project code base, such as LLVM/lld, GNU/gcc/binutils, MSVC/MSVS, ICC.
- Ideally you will have experience developing LLVM-based embedded toolchains and an understanding of MIPS instruction set architecture processors, including multi-core and multi-thread.
This role is hybrid in Boston (3 days a week)
