Role: Sr Java Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $100K-$150K (depending on experience)

PERMANENT FULL TIME

Looking for a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in Java, AWS, and DevOps to design and deploy solutions and improve processes in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Java-based solutions, from design to deployment, ensuring quality and operational readiness in AWS environments.
• Design and develop end-to-end solutions, enhance observability, and implement process improvements to boost team efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate business priorities, ensuring seamless operationalization of Java applications in AWS.
• Implement and manage BDD strategies, maintain test automation infrastructure, and optimize test coverage using DevOps practices.
• Foster effective communication, embrace continuous learning, and focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Java development and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and AWS platforms (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS).
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, including BDD and test automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
