Logistics Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ (on-site)
Duration: 5+ months
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19/hour

You will collaborate with a dedicated team to support key customers and carriers, playing a critical role in maintaining high-quality service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management:
- Maintain and update customer profiles.
- Enter customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system accurately.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Inform account managers of problem loads and the steps taken to resolve them.
- Update customers and receivers on shipment status and delivery timelines.
- Provide clear and detailed directions and instructions to drivers for effective routing.
- Shipment Oversight:
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying loads are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Take check calls from drivers and ensure all load data is validated prior to delivery for accounting purposes.
- Investigate product overages, shortages, or damages, and complete necessary documentation.
- Scheduling:
- Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads as needed.
- Accept or decline loads based on instructions from account managers.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to achieve business goals and maintain seamless operations.
Qualifications:
Required -
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills, both phone and email
Preferred -
- Experience drafting routine reports and correspondence
- Transportation industry experience
- Problem-solving skills
