At Cosentino ( we are looking for a People Leader to be part of our Global People Department, you will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.


What you will do

Our People Department is looking for a People Leader to be part of our team. In this role, you would be a strategic partner responsible for performing Human Resources (HR) related duties on a professional level and working closely with the rest of the People Leaders, in supporting designated geographic regions in the Distribution Business Unit in North America. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Management support and coaching, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, employment law compliance, reporting, and employee relations.


Management Support

• Support and partner with senior management providing perspective to business changes and evaluating the business case for impact on employees

• Support the coaching and development of leaders in the organization

• Assist management with the performance assessment process: from goal setting and development plans to follow-up actions


Talent Acquisition/Assistance

• Prioritize/ensure the fulfillment of the recruitment vacancies, giving support to the needs of strategical assistance in terms of Business.


Business Development

• Ensure the accomplishment of HR initiatives, strategies, and programs

• Develop, deliver, and partner with hiring managers to support the recruitment of the best talent

• Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems with Talent Cycle.


Management/Strategy Guideline

• Analyzing and interpreting organizational structures

• Developing the strategic direction by developing and managing the annual headcount and compensation budget.

• Monitor and analyze headcount and compensation data to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.

• Participating in and leading global projects in collaboration with other business leaders

• Creating processes that add value, focus on efficiency, and strengthen employee loyalty

• Support and partner with senior management; providing perspective on business changes and evaluating the business case for impact on employees.

• Support the coaching and development of leaders in the organization.

• Assist management with the performance assessment process: from goal setting and development plans to follow-up actions.


Other responsibilities:

• Support to employee relation specialist inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs

• Ensure compliance with employment-related laws

• Assist in communication of employee welfare plans such as retirement, life insurance, leaves of absence, disability benefits, and other associate safety, health, and wellness services

• Perform other task assigned by the manager


What you need to succeed

Professional Experience

Required:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2 in Human Resources in International environments.

• Demonstrated experience coaching and supporting leaders and managers

• Experience with HR tools

• Experience within a multinational company


Knowledge

Required:

• Languages: English and Spanish

• Recruitment and selection knowledge

• Health and Safety knowledge

• Training and development knowledge

• Communication: capacity to interact with multiple levels within all faces with commercial industry projects.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Strong planning and organization skills

• Self-motivated, results-orientated, and able to work under pressure managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Able to build and maintain relationships at every level and within multiple cultures.


Academical Background

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business Administration, Psychology, or HR-related field preferred

Desired:

• PHR certification preferred.

• Master’s in human resources management
