Loan Workout Specialist-Legal Administration
Location: (5 DAYS IN-OFFICE REQUIRED) - 800 S Jordan Creek Pkwy West Des Moines, IA 150496
Term : 18 months with possible extensions or FTE conversion
PROJECT SUMMERY
This team is Focused on reviewing the quality control of legal documents to ensure they align with document standard. Covers jobs responsible for managing complex and sensitive customer issues which can include estate care resolution (life events), remediation's, and/or settlements. Functions include assessing wide-ranging customer circumstances, conducting extensive research, determining appropriate courses of action, documenting/communicating finding, and supporting the issue through direct mediation as applicable.
TOP SKILLS
- Legal administration/ support experience
- Ability to combining documents in Adobe Reader
- User level experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, & One Note
- Working knowledge of legal civil procedures
Team Duties:
-Ensuring all dates, paperwork, notarizations etc. are accurate. this team manages and supports the control step
-The team is part of the recovery department, and is a last stop in the settlement review process
-Daily and weekly reports are received, the contractor will receive a control or process and each day they work the
accounts
-The team is not customer facing
-This is not an entry level position
Desired Experience:
-Root cause analysis
-Understanding credit cards, that is the main department
-Payment research
-Litigation exposure specifically civil procedure
-Partnering with 3rd party law firms
-Working independently and being resourceful
-Enterprise/corporate environment background
Technical Skills Required:
-EXCEL experience is very valuable in this role
SOFT SKILLS
- Must be highly organized
- Strong time management skills (will be working with hundreds of time sensitive documents that come in weekly)
- Partnership skills - ability to work with Q/A team
EXPERIENCE
- 6+ months of legal admin experience is preferred
- Hands on experience supporting paralegals, attorneys, or court systems will be helpful
