Meridia Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established St. Petersburg firm in the search for a strong Civil Engineer with Land Development experience to help round out their growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating an engineering plan for land development based on their calculations and any research conducted. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined. The right candidate will have an opportunity to work directly with ownership and strong, progressive mentorship, to help round out their Civil Engineering skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the business needs behind the work.

Minimum Duties:

• Work collaboratively in a team environment, performing design and technical production of documents through all phases of design.
• Prepare and modify construction documents at the direction of the project manager or other senior design professionals, ensuring alignment with design intent and the firm standards.
• Foster a commitment to design excellence and client service.
• Meet internal and external deadlines.
• Have passed or working towards passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and Professional Engineering Exam

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
