We are searching for a Water Resource PM & Sr. PM to join a well-respected firm in the Northern VA area. The firm covers a broad range of design services across land development, water resources, land planning, landscape architecture, surveying/mapping, and more. The firms Water Resource team provides a wide range of services in the following areas: stormwater management design, floodplain analysis and permitting, dam breach analysis and permitting, municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) permitting, stormwater construction inspections, and stormwater operation and maintenance program.

*Responsibilities may vary dependent on position level (PM vs SPM)

Duties:

• Lead/manage design for various types of SWM facilities (bioretentions, green roofs, permeable pavements, stormwater ponds, manufactured treatment devices, and underground detention facilities.)
• Oversee construction inspection for SWM facilities
• Develop stormwater O&M programs
• Model/analyze FEMA floodplains for existing conditions and proposed studies
• Develop state/local permit applications
• Manage junior staff
• Client management

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of experience with water resource engineering projects
• Experience managing projects and staff
• PE or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Experience with AutoCAD, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS, Flowmaster, and/or similar
• Experience writing proposals is a plus!
