Our client is looking to add a Project Manager with a focus on Roadway Design. This is a direct hire opportunity. This person will lead the design, planning, and production of roadway and transportation projects. This role requires excellent technical expertise, effective collaboration, and mentorship skills to deliver high-quality solutions for governmental clients. The ideal candidate will have their PE license and experience with MicroStation and/or ORD.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan production of roadway, highway, ADA-compliant sidewalk, and multi-use facilities.
• Review and provide roadway design elements, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, intersection layout, drainage design, pedestrian facility design, utilities conflict and relocations, and other roadway design tasks.
• Work collaboratively with CDI leaders, and other Project Engineers to develop effective project solutions.
• Mentoring and teaching team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year college or university
• PE strongly encouraged (or ability to obtain one)
• 6 –18 years experience
• Strong technical skills in transportation engineering and roadway design.
• Experienced in working with governmental clients in Missouri and/or Illinois.
• Proficiency with MicroStation.
• Experience with Highway/Roadway Plan Production.

Desired Skills

• Strong technical skills in roadway drainage design
• Experience with Open Roads Designer (ORD) and/or Microstation
• Good communication skills
