Our client, a Stamford CT based Real Estate Owner, seeks a Senior Treasury Accountant to play a key role on their Finance team, including overseeing Cash Management, Banking relationships and forecasting
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of over 100 bank accounts, including opening and closing accounts, reviewing bank reconciliations, and maintaining new and existing banking relations
- Review daily cash positions and reconcile inflows and outflows
- Interact with Senior Management and third parties (Auditors, Tax Advisors, third-party owners) in order to provide necessary information and communicate effectively
- Maximize overall efficiencies of treasury department by effectively streamlining policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 3-6+ years’ experience in Accounting/Treasury function in the Real Estate or Hospitality industry
- Must have experience handling a large number of bank accounts (50+)
- Experience with Sage ERP system a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
