Our client a leading Texas based Homebuilder are looking to grow their team with a Loan Officer to be based in Downtown Dallas, TX. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will assume full responsibility to guide buyers through the loan process from pre-qualification and application. You will pre-qualify prospective home buyers introduced by our onsite sales team, review financing options, and assist credit challenged purchasers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare applicants for loan applications and conduct formal loan applications with all borrowers.
• Qualify loan applicants and determine the best program for applicants utilizing automated underwriting systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Sales Consultants.
• Provide weekend support in builder communities and grand opening functions.
• Manage a loan pipeline and the loan process to ensure loans are funded in a timely manner.
• Create relationships with prospects and customers to establish trust and encourage referral business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, financial planners, individual borrowers, and other builders, etc.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as an MLO (builder experience preferred or equivalent).
• NMLS License Required.
• Knowledge of conventional and government loan guidelines.
• Knowledge of processing underwriting and/or closing procedures/ federal lending regulations

Compensation:

$14.42 per hour + commission
