Mid- Level Software Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects supporting IT infrastructure.
• Tech Stack: Java, AWS, vue.js, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Apache NiFi or Tika
• Integrate third-party components programmatically, introduce new custom capabilities, modify existing code, recommend process improvements, and automate operations and maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications as directed by lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Conduct technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in application development and IT infrastructure projects.
• Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Proficiency in integrating third-party components and developing custom software solutions.
• Experience in large-scale data processing, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
