Marrying raw and refined ingredients, VESTRY offers an inventive menu of seasonally-driven dishes crafted with global techniques. We are hiring Captains whose primary focus is hospitality and service , in the truest sense of the word, who embodies care and humility , and anticipates needs.

1 full year of fine dining/Michelin star restaurant experience required for this role.
Must have availability from Monday-Saturday and flexible for work on Sundays for special occasions.

Duties & Essential Functions:
- Care for our guests with a smile and positive attitude
- Take and enter orders correctly and communicate flow with management and chefs
- Knowledge of Micros a plus
- Good understanding of wine, beer, classic cocktails.
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs).
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors.
- Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.
- Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
- Must be of legal age according to NY State regulations to serve alcohol (18 years).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Food safety knowledge.
