A healthcare clinic, with multiple sites around New York and Long Island, is seeking a Gynecological Surgeon trained to join their pursuit of high-quality patient care in Bethpage, NY.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Daytime
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (one Saturday per month)
- Hours: 8am to 6pm (one late night shift per week) and one Saturday per month
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Volume: 2 to 3 per hour
- Provider has Opportunity to do deliveries at hospitals if desired
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality outpatient care, utilizing the latest developments and advanced surgical techniques and treatment
- Review patient's history and perform physical examination
- Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods
- Treat diseases of female organs
- Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
- Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Surgical experience
- M.D. / D.O.
- Board Eligible / Certified
- ACLS and BLS certification
- DEA Registration
- Interest in Population Health
