Job Title: Neurologist

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including:
• Detailed patient history reviews
• Thorough neurological examinations
• Interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies (e.g., MRI, CT, EEG)
• Ordering and interpreting relevant laboratory tests
• Performing nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including:
• Medical management of neurological conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, stroke, epilepsy, dementia)
• Non-pharmacological interventions (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy)
• Coordination of care with other specialists (e.g., neurosurgeons, physiatrists, neuropsychologists)
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing neurological procedures.
• Manage acute neurological conditions, such as stroke and seizures.
• Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in neurology and neurotherapeutics.
• Maintain a high level of clinical competence and adhere to evidence-based guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Neurology.
• Board Certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN
