Bosson Optical has been a staple in Litchfield, Connecticut for over 30 years. We are an upscale optical store with an on-site eyeglass laboratory and a sizable suite for an optometrist to practice. Bosson Optical will be changing ownership and names in February, becoming West Street Optical.

Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for an Optometrist at West Street Optical, on the green in Litchfield, CT. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, diagnosing visual issues, prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses, and providing exceptional patient care. We offer flexible schedule and compensation packages based on the needs of the candidate. No evenings or weekends required.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited school of optometry
• Valid state optometry license
• Strong knowledge of ocular diseases, conditions, and treatment options
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to make accurate prescriptions
• Ability to work well in a team environment
