Certification Details WI RN License BLS Chemo certification Job Details Job Description: Registered Nurse, Oncology at Aspirus Wausau Hospital Specialty: Oncology Facility: Aspirus Wausau Hospital Location: Wausau, Wisconsin Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 2/3/25 Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 Shift Requirements: 12hr nights 7p-730a Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday Float Requirements: Will float as needed to other areas and care for patients within scope, can float in 4 hour blocks and will float before staff RNs Job Requirements Required Certifications: WI RN License and BLS Chemo certification is required Minimum Experience: 2 years, with 1 year on MSO Unit preferred Oncology experience required Charting Experience: Epic preferred or previous electronic charting experience Schedule Information Shift Requirements: 12hr nights 7p-730a Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday Float Requirements: Will float as needed to other areas and care for patients within scope, can float in 4 hour blocks Unit Specific Information Patient ratio ranges from 4:1 or 5:1 on Days and PMs. Night shift is normally 5:1 but can get up to 7:1 (not common). Night shift will always have techs on. C.NAs are scheduled all shifts but may staff more RNs when C.NA not available. Additional Details Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
