A nonprofit services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Administrative professional to join their growing team as their new Executive Assistant.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: January
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Hours: 9am to 6pm (but need to be flexible)

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week.***

Responsibilities:

• Heavy, complex calendar and gatekeeping
• Representing the principal to internal staff and external stakeholders including Board members, donors, and press
• Preparing daily and weekly agendas; preparing or ensuring the preparation of meeting agendas, materials, and talking points
• Booking travel (primarily domestic)
• Recording and processing expenses
• Light correspondence and research
• Document management and filing
• Assisting with Board meeting preparations and day-of staffing
• Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience supporting C-Level staff and Executives
• Bachelor's Degree from a competitive US college or equivalent
• Computer savvy
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Solid problem-solving and time-management skills
• Exceptional phone etiquette
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
