A Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for handling, resolving, and overseeing NCMR freight claims and Quality Claims, with carriers and vendors. Evaluating, negotiating, and authorizing settlements with all stakeholders within the designated level of authority.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day project management and reporting of progress and results.
  • Manages Supply Chain projects by providing project leadership and daily management for all assigned projects.
  • Monitor and manage the development of supply chain enhancements and project implementation.
  • Supports the design and installation of material handling equipment, technology, and systems incorporated into existing.
  • Demonstrate experience, skills, and capabilities in all project management competencies, including planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling of projects.
  • Drives ownership and execution for delivering project deliverables on timing, cost, quality, and budget.
  • Monitor and report status of project progress and risks to the project sponsor, leadership team and key stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps and develop, improve, and implement standards, guidelines, practices, processes, and templates for managing projects consistently and efficiently to meet deadlines while minimizing risks and costs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project managers, and external partners to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource constraints. Provide logistics expertise and guidance to support project planning and execution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school or general equivalency diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and processes.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, results oriented environment.
  • Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have outstanding time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, managing several activities at one time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with a key attention to detail.
