Drone Nerds’ Enterprise Drone Specialist & Content Producer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for educating prospects on enterprise drone solutions through video content, interviews, webinars, conference speaking sessions, virtual events, and more. This role will represent the brand on and off camera to help position Drone Nerds as a trusted authority and partner for organizations that wish to implement UAV programs in their operations, as well as help strengthen relationships with potential clients/audiences.
In addition to maintaining knowledge of UAV trends, legal and FAA regulations, and new technologies, this person will also develop content production plans, oversee the content production process from ideation to execution, and develop a strategy for content publication and distribution.
Enterprise Drone Specialization:
- Maintains expertise in a variety of enterprise drone solutions, including platforms, software, payloads, and fleet management.
- Develops educational content in various formats, including video, live speaking sessions, virtual sessions, webinars, and more.
- Stay abreast of the latest updates across partners and the drone industry.
Video Content Production:
- Researches and strategizes content topics, titles, and descriptions based on search trends, customer feedback, and social engagement.
- Develops a quarterly content production strategy with a calendar including milestones and deadlines.
- Works closely on various video projects with creatives, vendors, and contractors on production.
- Scripts, records, and edits video content for publication.
- Manages scheduling to meet project timelines.
- Delivers a minimum of three educational enterprise YouTube videos per week, one consumer video every other week, and one webinar per month, plus additional educational efforts.
- Produces video content and educational content for product launches and updates on demand.
- Scout and reserve locations, vehicles, and other resources needed for production.
- Applies for necessary permits and licenses to meet project requirements.
- Communicates daily with stakeholders, and producers on project status and deliverables.
- Creates project roadmaps with milestones.
- Develops a publication and distribution strategy for the content produced.
- Engages with the online community to answer questions, reinforce education, and promote the business.
Webinar & Public Speaking:
- Responsible for developing and delivering one educational webinar per month including the content planning, presentation design, script planning, and hosting the content and Q&A
- Hosts partner webinars in which the role introduces the topic and moderates Q&A
- Plans, develops, and delivers though leadership presentations at local and national events.
Communications & Reporting:
- Establish KPIs for performance, analyze key metrics to measure audience engagement and sentiment, propose data-driven strategic adjustments, and share insights and key findings with leadership.

Requirements:
- Enterprise Drone Experience
- Part 107 License
- Comfortable with Public Speaking
- MUST be comfortable being on-camera and featured in social channels
- Video Editing Expertise
- Background in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field a plus
- Graphic design skills are a plus
