Acara Solutions is seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst for our client, a top food manufacturing company in Lancaster, NY ! In this role, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and maintaining a compensation program, ensuring fair and competitive practices to attract, retain and motivate employees.
We are seeking qualified candidates with:
- Experience building and implementing a compensation program
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- The ability to communicate across all organizational levels
Here's what you'll do:
- Manages and maintains the compensation program, including salary structures, incentive pay and executive compensation.
- Documents and analyzes compensation policies, monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices, and makes recommendations consistent with statutory compliance, compensation trends and total rewards objectives.
- Collaborates with Human Resources and management on job evaluation, analysis, grading and pricing.
- Performs and participates in market analysis and salary survey activities; analyzes markets trends and industry standards; proposes compensation strategy and program improvements as needed.
- Participates in merit increase processes to ensure compliance within budgetary limits and according to compensation policies.
- Communicates compensation policies and changes to employees as needed.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Position Type: Direct Placement
Pay: Up to $112K/yr. **Depending on experience
Schedule: M-F 1st shift/Business hours

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in compensation program implementation, analysis and maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years' experience using Microsoft Excel (and its advanced functions).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, and compliance requirements related to employee compensation.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present data to all levels of the organization.
- Effective critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with UKG is a plus.
