Discover International are currently partnered with a global leader in various industries including Pharmaceutical & Chemical manufacturing, dedicated to delivering innovative automation solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Their Houston office is growing, and their looking for a skilled DeltaV Engineer to join their dynamic team.


Job Description:

Highly motivated and experienced DeltaV Engineer to support the growing operations in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement DeltaV control systems for various industrial applications.
  • Develop and modify control logic, graphics, and system configuration.
  • Perform system troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver automation solutions on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in the development of project documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Emerson DeltaV systems.
  • Proficiency in control system design, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control principles.
  • Experience with process control in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
