We are hiring on behalf of one of our partners in the US for a hybrid, full-time opportunity. This role requires at least 1-2 days in the office each week.
We’re seeking a full-stack developer with experience building products across the stack. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud-based hosting environments, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
Objectives of this role
- Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable
- positive user experiences and measurable business growth
- Develop new features and infrastructure in support of emerging business and
- project requirements
- Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards
- for code quality and application design
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design,
- implementation, and deployment
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed
- and scale
- Write clean, well-documented code for new projects, as well refactoring existing
- code base to make it more efficient, maintainable, and easier to understand
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Microsoft Teams, Zendesk, Jira, and
- frequent videoconferences
- Required skills and qualifications
- At least three years of experience in building web applications
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript/React, PHP/Laravel, MySQL, AWS, Git
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in unit/integration testing
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or
- engineering
- Experience working in a start-up environment with smaller teams
- Comfortable working with loose requirements and switching projects on short
- notice to prioritize customer and business needs
- Mobile app development experience a plus
- Professional certification(s) a plus
