Amazon System Engineer (Google Workplace G Suite)

Location: Seattle, WA (Core Business hours)

Compensation: $120,000-$155,000

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience to manage a cloud IDP system such as Entra ID or background in IAM
• 1+ years designing and managing solutions using Google Workspace (G Suite)
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud technologies, including: Google Workspace applications, Data storage, Directory services, App Integrations, and Device management
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud architecture and Google Cloud solutions to meet all requirements
• Governance of Security and Compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience identifying and addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
• Professional Google Workspace Administrator certification
• Scripting and automation: Proficiency to streamline and automate routine tasks and workflows using a scripting language such as Python
• Change management: Knowledge of principles and practices to maximize user adoption
• Written communication: Create comprehensive documentation of troubleshooting resolutions, audit results, user training, and for general collaboration with team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and plan Google Workspace cloud solution with security, compliance, performance, reliability, cost-optimization, and longevity as the cornerstones of decision-making.
• Develop and maintain Google Workspace policies and best practices.
• Act as a key contributor in the development and ongoing observation of success criteria, performance indicators and services.
• Analyze and optimize technical and business processes using Google Workspace technologies and services.

Role Overview

A large technology customer in the Seattle market is looking to add two Systems Engineers to their team. As a Systems Engineer for Google Workspace you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Google Workspace solutions for our organization. The Google Workspace Engineer must exhibit leadership of the platform, collaborating with all stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess the current infrastructure, and develop strategic plans to optimize and enhance our Google Workspace environment. In this role they will develop and maintain robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive business objectives.
