Knowledge and ability to train on:
- Stay up to date on all PAX and NAWCAD security guidelines and appropriate forms to be utilizing (EX: SAAR, SF100, 701, 702, DD-254, etc)
- Security Regulations – Ensure we stay up to date and in line with all regulations consistently.
- Attend Security Coordinator Meetings – Representing the lab
- Prepare and coordinate all planned/unplanned Inspections. Pop-up, safety, IG, OSHA, etc.
- Perform Annual and Ad-Hoc Security Refresher Trainings
- Ensure that the lab is up to date and prepared for all possible inspections.
- MONTHLY BREECH CHECKS – Mark off on Final End Of Day SF 701 for that month.
- Security Containers – (SECURITY) Admin can be back-up if/when needed.
Responsible for:
- Knowledge and ability to train on use.
- Inventory (on going and annual review)
- Annual clean-out day
- Changing or arranging changes of security container and door combinations, as needed.
- Updating all associated records and acquiring appropriate signatures, as needed
- Posting updated forms, as needed. (Swipe access list, Container access lists)
- Safe Database – Maintain Safe Database For all classified items within the lab Admin can be back-up if/when needed.
- Media Destruction – Coordinate and complete, as needed. Admin can be back-up if/when needed.
- Track and Maintain records of all DD-254’s on file for all contractor companies with access to the GSSA
- Complete Knowledge of and the Ability to conduct Security Training on: (ADMIN needs knowledge of)
- Opening and closing procedures for the GSSA Lab
- Proper use and management of security containers
- Ad-Hoc Security training for identified problem areas
- New Employee security training including open/close procedures & proper use of containers, walk through of lab spaces, and introductions to personnel
- Annual Security Refresher Training
- Difference of and how to handle CLEARED VISITOR(s)” AND “UNCLEARED VISITOR(s)
- Packaging classified and unclassified material and preparing for shipping
- Management of CUI-Visitor List
- Knowledge of and the know how to review and update CUI-Visitor List (ADMIN)
- Control / Track all media that enters / exits the GSSA
- ACCESS CONTROL (SWIPE ACCESS) - C-Cure Machine – All aspects of using the system, adding personnel, and the paperwork associated each time here is an update
- Full working knowledge of the GSSA SOP (SECURITY)
- Ensure the SOP gets reviewed annually and updated as needed.
- DISS – Access and ability to review clearances. Verify security clearances in DISS for all SSA Lab visitors and personnel, as needed.
- Mandatory Trainings – Notify personnel when due and retain copies of the training certifications for contractor personnel.
- Check In/Out of Personnel - Ability to complete personnel Check-In/Out to the GSSA – Utilizing the GSSA check-in/out form, knowledge of and ability to complete all Security and Admin related tasks.
- ACCESS CONTROL (SWIPE ACCESS) - C-Cure Machine – Knowledge of all aspects of using the system, adding personnel, and the paperwork associated each time there is an update
- SHIPPING/RECEIVING
- SHIPPING/RECEIVING – Full knowledge of all shipping methods (FedEx/USPS & Certified Mail), associated documentation required, shipping processes, and all details associated.
- SHIPPING/RECEIVING associated paperwork: Media Request Form, Shipping / Receiving log, ROR, 1149, Signature and Tally form, REPSHIP, Registered Mail Form, Registered Mail Bar code, etc.
- SHIPPING/RECEIVING - Stay up-to-date on mail requirements, as they change frequently.
- Stay up to date on forms – What DOD is requiring, along with what GSSA lab and position requires within block 11.
- Full knowledge of and ability to wrap classified and unclassified items. Prepare for shipping or Hand Carrying.
- Knowledge of all GSSA Logs, and the purpose of each
- Escort SSA Lab visitors/maintenance employees, as needed.
