Piper Maddox have recently partnered with one of Florida’s leading employers to build out their Design Engineering team.

This organization operate across the Renewable Energy space, working with the local communities & larger institutions across the US to identify and achieve their Renewable Energy & Sustainability goals.

This particular role falls within the client facing group, operating as a full turn-key provider for building automation & building control systems.

In this role, operating as a Design Engineer, you will be tasked with:

1. Drafting and finalizing drawings for various building control systems including HVAC, protective systems and various schematics.
2. Complete all voltage calculations for various systems including fire alarm, HVAC and others.
3. Working with the Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure all submittals are completed.

The ideal person for this position will have a background similar to the below:

1. Proficient in AutoCAD.
2. A minimum of 3 years experience working in a Design Engineering position.
3. A background working with Electrical Circuits, Controls Systems & HVAC systems.
