Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing research projects and publications from inception to completion, including needs assessments and deliverables.
• Leading advisory groups on distributed generation, virtual power plants, DERMS, demand response, and electrification integration.
• Managing federally funded projects in distributed energy and microgrids while pursuing new funding opportunities.
• Guiding cooperatives in adopting new technologies, processes, and partnerships with technology vendors and large C&I consumers.
• Representing NRECA and electric cooperatives as a subject matter expert at conferences, meetings, and working groups.

Qualifications:

• Required :
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, finance, or business.
• 5+ years of experience with distributed energy resources and utility industry changes.
• Knowledge of distributed resource hardware/software, industry trends, and business use cases.
• Strong organizational, budgeting, and business acumen, with the ability to articulate ROI.
