Engineer II

Are you curious about how products are designed and built? Are you a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? If so, BSI invites you to join our team as a full-time Engineer II and contribute to the creation of innovative food service equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop detailed production and sales product drawings for a variety of food service equipment, including food shields, countertops, cabinets, electrical components, and carts.
• Manage multiple design projects, from small custom jobs to large-scale initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Management to interpret customer specifications and design products that meet customer needs and align with BSI’s manufacturing capabilities.
• Work with Pro Engineering and SolidWorks (prior experience with these platforms is a plus).
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-4 years of experience using drafting or 3D design software in a professional environment.
• A high school diploma is required; additional training or education in manufacturing, engineering, or construction is preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented individuals who consistently meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn manufacturing procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction is a strong plus.
