ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer working onsite in Seattle to support our premier client’s Health Services AI team. The ideal candidate will have experience writing documentation for APIs, SDKs, components and tools. This is a 6-month contract role that offers experience working within an up-and-coming industry.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including API guides and developer resources.
• Collaborate with product teams to align content with product strategies.
• Write sample code and technical procedures for developers and customers.
• Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and user-friendly.
• Continuously improve content based on feedback and updates.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years in a writing or lead writing role
• Proven ability to work with developers and write for a developer audience
• Basic experience working with a programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
• Proven experience designing documentation for software APIs
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Experience with XML-based publishing systems
• Some experience with web services and related technologies a plus
• Public sector regulation experience
