Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Position Overview: Leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. In this critical role, you will oversee the accounts payable function, manage a team of five professionals, and ensure efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote work flexibility with occasional in-office presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of five accounts payable professionals, including setting priorities, managing schedules, and conducting performance reviews.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment disbursements.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies, address payment issues, and streamline processes.
- Develop and implement best practices for accounts payable operations, aiming for continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including accounts payable aging reports, to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard financial data and prevent fraud.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts related to accounts payable activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an accounts payable management role, including supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
