POSITION SUMMARY
To provide pleasurable dining experiences by ensuring professional, timely, food and beverage service to residents, family members, guests, and/or staff according to established dining standards. Ensures that all food sanitation guidelines are being met. Ensures all resident dietary needs are being followed. The successful candidate will maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor, be able to multitask and problem solve. This position reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Welcomes all tables with a warm and friendly greeting.
- Assures accuracy of food orders and serves food in a safe, sanitary, timely manner.
- Ensures food preparation for residents are accurate according to diet requirements.
- Suggests food and beverage offerings.
- Promptly and accurately closes checks.
- Always maintains a neat and orderly appearance.
- Completes related tasks and side work as assigned.
- Demonstrates a positive, respectful, and professional team approach and communicates effectively with residents, peers, and managers.
- Consistently communicates resident and guests concerns to supervisors and/or management.
- Assists in maintaining and achieving departmental sanitation standards and goals.
