Backbone is an upscale neighborhood restaurant from husband and wife team Nathan McCall and Karen Yoo . They were the original Chef Owners of McCall's Meat & Fish , a beloved Los Feliz Butcher Shop & Bakery for over 10 years. Going back to their Michelin roots, the Chefs have worked in such notable restaurants as Sona (LA), Daniel (NYC) and Arzak (Spain), and are now looking to create an elevated experience close to home. Expect Spanish and Asian influces, with a firm foundation in French technique.
We are searching for Servers & Wine Bartenders to join our team !
Servers & Wine Bartenders are responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for all guests, whether they are neighborhood regulars, or celebrating a special event. Candidates should be passionate about Hospitality, with an incredible attention to detail. Servers must anticipate guest needs, be knowledgeable about Fine Dining and Wine Service, as well as being mindful to the extent of engagement each guest requires. We love what we do, and so should you!
Candidates must possess the following:
- A genuine love for Food and Hospitality.
- A strong foundation in Service and a passion for wine.
- Advanced food & beverage knowledge and the desire to continuously learn.
- A polished, professional demeanor, with a warm and hospitable disposition.
- Ability to remain calm in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills
- Have POS (especially Toast) proficiency
- A minimum 2 years of upscale restaurant experience
