Job Position: Warehouse / Delivery Driver
Location: Bluffton, SC 29910
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift: Mon - Fri 7:30am to 4:30pm
Driver/Warehouse Associate Job Description:
Supports the day-to-day operations of the company by handling inventory, orders, packing, loading and driving deliveries. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. The ability to operate a forklift or willing to be trained. Deliver products to customer as needed. Assist with counter sales if called on.
Requirements:
Warehouse/distribution and/or electrical experience preferred but not required. Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code. Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math skills and reasoning skills. Certification of forklift equipment is a plus. Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar - coding equipment, handheld devices. Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a must.
Physical Requirements:
Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. This position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing. This position may require climbing of ladders for top - level selection.
You must have the ability to work in a constant state of alert and in a safe way.
