VALiNTRY is seeking a Accounts Payable ( AP ) Specialist for a contract position onsite in Anahelm, CA, the position pays between $35.00 to $50.00 per hour on w2. However, if you possess additional valuable skill sets that could benefit the enterprise, you may be eligible for higher compensation. Summary:
The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is responsible for processing all bills and ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely payment to creditors. This role involves resolving purchase order, billing, and payment discrepancies through collaboration with various departments, managers, and vendors. Acumatica is required to be successful in this position
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the payment cycle and deliver efficient service.
Process bills using Trailed (AP Automation), ensuring discounts are applied and credits for outstanding memos are received.
Work within Acumatica ERP
Schedule and prepare payments via checks, online transfers, and credit cards.
Maintain vendor forms, resale certificates, W-9s, and other related documents.
Reconcile vendor statements and monitor AP aging reports to ensure timely payments.
Address and resolve billing or payment discrepancies professionally.
Communicate with vendors to handle payment inquiries and maintain strong relationships.
Process drop-ship invoices accurately.
Support Accounts Receivable (AR) by clarifying freight costs.
Coordinate with the Receiving Department to follow up on purchase orders.
Reconcile credit card statements.
Assist with the AP closing process at month-end.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Proficient in general accounting procedures and data management.
Familiarity with ERP systems and AP Automation tools.
Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Professional interpersonal and communication skills.
Capable of prioritizing and managing competing projects effectively.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree with five years of relevant experience preferred.
Hands-on experience processing full-cycle AP in Acumatica or similar ERP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
