Going Mutts Pet Services, LLC is searching for a reliable, responsible and friendly individual to join its team in the Lancaster City, Manheim Township and Lititz areas. This a permanent position for dog walking and pet sitting as our bookings are recurring year round. Candidates must have a clean background check due to the nature of the business which includes having access to confidential information and entering client properties.
Required Availability:
- Open availability during the day to walk dogs (some days we start at 8 am) and complete admin tasks in person at an office
- Minimum of two weekends per month to walk dogs or stay overnight with dogs at their homes
- Evening and overnight availability to stay overnight with dogs at their homes
Pay:
- $13 - $19.5 for 30 minute walks, $6.5 - $13 for 15 minute walks
- $45-$55 per night for pet sitting
- Bi-Weekly Direct Deposit, Paid Training, Paid Meetings, Tips, Referral Bonuses
- 35-40 hours per week
Dog Walker Duties
- Drive to client’s home and take dog(s) out for a walk and potty break around the neighborhood
- Playtime (as needed or during inclement weather)
- Waste removal
- Freshen up water
- Daily Feeding (as needed)
- Medicine Administration (as needed)
Pet Sitting Duties
- Overnight care given at the client's home while they are away
- House sitting with mail & package retrieval
- Walks & potty breaks
- Mealtime and Medicine administration (if applicable)
- Snuggles and belly rubs!
Company Requirements:
- Must have flexible availability
- Must be able to walk at least 120 minutes per day
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 40+ pounds
- Must have reliable form of transportation
- Must be available in all weather - we walk in rain, cold and heat
Company Standards :
- Arrive on time to each appointment
- Have an open line of communication with each client, fellow co-workers and company owner
- Leave house just as clean, if not cleaner, as you found it
- Treat properties and animals in your care with respect
