We are hiring Permanent Hematology/ Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum assignment in IA!

Job details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Days Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 PM + call
• On Call & Weekend: TBD - after hour calls are by phone only and are very minima
• Expect to split time 30/70 between Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Practice is attached to the hospital
• Currently sees an average of 30 patients per day - patient population is adult and geriatric
• New patient visits are allocated 30 minutes and follow-up patients 15 minutes.
• Physicians are supported by four RNs, MA, CNA, and a receptionist.
• Hospitalists are available to cover infusions, if needed.
• Strong primary care network of providers to provide a steady stream of internal referrals
• Practice in a professionally managed and thriving state-of-the-art facility with full ancillary services.
• Not accepting Locum candidates
• Not accepting visa candidates
• Cannot accept providers who have any malpractice cases that are in Probate or that require supervision. Clean malpractice is preferred.

Job Requirements:

• Board Certificate in Hematology or Oncology
• Board Eligible in Hematology or Oncology
• IA State License (or willing to obtain)
• Clean Malpractice
