An Internal Medicine Physician is sought by a healthcare network in North Carolina to provide comprehensive medical care at a rehabilitation center. The role includes diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, prescribing necessary medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will hold a medical degree, be board certified, and possess strong clinical and communication skills.

A North Carolina-based healthcare network is currently seeking a new Physician to join their team at one of their rehabilitation centers. In this role, the Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, ensuring high-quality clinical services, and supporting the overall health and well-being of the patient population.
About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm
  • Setting: Rehabilitation Center

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
  • Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
  • Adhere to all medical protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
  • Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
