Details:

• 3–6-month W2 contract to direct-hire with the end client.
• Hybrid in Davidson NC - north of Charlotte NC - 3 days on-site (Monday-Wednesday).
• $73-80k full time conversion rate along with full benefits.

Must-Have Experience & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst role or similar capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functionalities.
• Experience sourcing and working with data in internal databases.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, ambiguous environment

Plusses:

• Knowledge of product categories such as metalworking, HVAC, process equipment, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with workflow and reporting tools like Alteryx or similar.
• Experience and proficiency with SQL, Python, and/or R.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and proactive, with a strong ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This role involves managing and analyzing complex data, running existing processes with precision, and implementing updates within various tools. Key Responsibilities include: analyzing and interpreting data to support decision making and drive actionable insights, executing and maintaining exiting workflows and process to involve manual interventions, utilizing R and SQL to update and optimize tools and processes, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of data outputs, collaborating with stakeholders to source data from internal databases and ensuring timely delivery of results, and adapting quickly to new challenges while demonstrating problem-solving capabilities without relying on extensive guidance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have strong communication skills and a high work ethic.
