As the Quality Supervisor , you'll be responsible for compliance, making sure that all regulatory requirements are met – from FDA regulations to customer specifications. This may include conducting routine microbiological testing analyzing HACCP logs and implementing auditing, assessing, and training of food safety and quality management systems).

How You'll Make a Difference:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Food and Drug Administration (FDA) such as federal and local regulation, USDA, EPA, customer specifications and corporate food safety and quality standards, take appropriate corrective actions when needed.
- Monitor and verify the food safety program and ensures that FDA FSMA preventive controls are effective and proper records are maintained.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of the applicable food safety CCPs, oPRPs and PRPs.
- Conduct routine food safety and quality tests as defined by the company standard.
- Conduct food safety training and ensure the effectiveness
- Verify and maintain food safety records
- Support department leaders with inspection/audit readiness.
- Support CSC in all phases of external, food safety, quality and sanitation inspections/audit.
- Support with investigations regarding food safety matters and support CSC management in collecting and analyzing information.
- Perform and document periodic checks on products and services to ensure quality standards are met.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across all functions.
- Collect, monitor and support the leaders on corrective actions
- Reporting, and maintaining food safety monitoring tools and input to food safety and quality management system.
- Collect and monitor all food safety and quality documents (e.g. environmental monitoring, sanitation verifications, etc.)
- Keep food safety manuals, policy and documentation updated.
Quality Reporting:
- Monitor and prepare reports for the quality management system
- Collect and monitor all quality documents (e.g. Chef Table, portion control, equipment handling, ramp-on time, and safety performance)
- Keep manuals and documentation updated and implement new procedures and rules
Leadership:
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed
- Guide, motivate, and develop subordinate employees within the Human Resources Policy
- Participate in coaching the expanded Global Performance System (GPS) process, as well as additional career development activities to enhance the effectiveness and potential of the team
- Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)
- Plan / Implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
- Participate and support company-sponsored initiatives such as Global Quality Standards (GQS), HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, engineering or related fields is preferred
- Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)Working knowledge in Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards is highly preferred
- Two to three years of related work experience required in the food safety area
- Proven analytical and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve budget
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and HACCP regulations
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required combines with an aptitude for multi-tasking
